On December 5th, the MUCBO | Sóller Botanic Garden welcomed the visit of the Mayor of Palma, Jaime Martínez, accompanied by the Councillor for Natural Environment, Llorenç Bauzá, the Councillor for Urban Planning, Óscar Fidalgo, and the General Coordinator of the municipal government, Ignacio Fernández.
They were received by the Mayor of Sóller, Miquel Nadal, the First Deputy Mayor, Carlos Darder, the MUCBO Manager, Daniel Gallego, the Vice President of ARCA, Àngels Fermoselle, and the Garden Curator, Magdalena Vicens. During the visit, they learned firsthand about the rich diversity of flora we conserve and the conservation initiatives that make us a botanical reference in Mallorca.
This visit strengthens the prestige of the MUCBO as a model of sustainable management and a key tool for preserving natural heritage.
