In December, we presented the EL JARDÍN DE LA MEMORIA notebook, a publication resulting from the intergenerational project carried out between the users of the Memory and Social Skills Workshops in the municipality of Sóller (IMAS-Consell de Mallorca) for the 2023-24 school year, and the students of IES Guillem Colom Casasnoves, coordinated by the MUCBO.
This event marked the conclusion of an ethnobotanical project that allowed, through intergenerational transmission, the knowledge of plants to be preserved and not forgotten. For our institution, it has been a pleasure to become a meeting place where young and older generations came together to walk through the garden of memory, contributing to the conservation of biodiversity and creating connections between different generations.
