Excellent turnout for the 5th edition of Nadal i Natura at the MUCBO

This past Sunday we greatly enjoyed hosting the 5th edition of Nadal i Natura at the MUCBO. We would like to thank everyone who participated and all the visitors for joining us on such a special day.

We had a craft market with all kinds of products, a gastronomic area with pizzas, crepes, smoothies, pastissets and organic goods, a wishing tree, and workshops for children and all ages.

The Christmas ornament workshops organised by the educational staff were a great success, as were those led by the artist Paula García. Laura Cáceres gave a botanical and creative watercolour workshop where participants learned techniques for scientific and botanical illustration using this medium. At the museum, a dozen families enjoyed the activity “Música per Infants”, where the little ones experimented with musical instruments and songs.

This year also stood out for the large participation in the treasure hunt, with more than 70 participants searching for the little hidden figures around the museum and garden to complete a set of mysterious crosswords. Everyone who completed the activity received a small gift from the MUCBO.

As part of the day’s programme, the museum also inaugurated its new temporary exhibition “Sargantanes de Mallorca”.

Merry Christmas!
