On June 14, the second artistic gathering with Jeannine Cook took place, this time at the Es Seregalls olive grove in Fornalutx. The event was part of the programme celebrating the Fascination of Plants Day and followed the first session held on May 17 at the Botanical Garden of Sóller.
To mark her exhibition of metalpoint drawings at the Garden, Jeannine Cook invited participants to a drawing workshop in the heart of nature, set in the inspiring landscape of the Seregalls olive grove. A place of great beauty and tranquillity, where the light, birdsong, and the majestic presence of the olive trees stimulated creativity.
As the artist expressed: “Es Seregalls is a magical place of incredible beauty. It was a workshop in collaboration with MUCBO and the Botanical Garden of Sóller, with the Artists of Mallorca and with Es Seregalls. A workshop full of creativity and, in the end, full of joy, held within an olive grove of majestic trees.”
This activity was made possible through the collaboration between MUCBO, Es Seregalls, and the Artists of Mallorca association. A proposal where art, nature, and contemplation came together to offer a unique and transformative experience.
