On June 27, we experienced a truly special moment at MUCBO: a forest bathing session that invited us to pause, listen, breathe, and feel with all our senses, guided by Malena Bibiloni.
This wasn’t our first time offering such gatherings; sessions have been held throughout the seasons, each with its own uniqueness and beauty, in tune with the natural rhythm of seasonal change.
Forest bathing is a Japanese practice known as Shinrin-yoku, which literally means “bathing in the forest atmosphere.” This discipline encourages full and mindful immersion in the natural world to promote well-being, reduce stress, and support both physical and emotional health.
As dusk settled in and the changing light painted the garden’s corners with colour, we discovered the richness of slowness, the beauty of simplicity, and the depth of being truly present in the moment. It was an invitation to disconnect from daily routines and reconnect with ourselves and the environment.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who shared this experience with us, and we invite you to continue exploring the benefits of forest bathing in future sessions.
