The Consell de Mallorca presented the Mallorca Digitalized project on Monday, July 13. The initiative allows visitors to explore the island’s heritage virtually through 360º tours, as well as videos, photographs, and detailed information about the different sites.
As part of this initiative, MUCBO is included in the Historic Gardens category, with the Sóller Botanical Garden featured as a key site. The virtual tour includes both the garden’s terraced landscapes and the Balearic Museum of Natural Sciences.
The Consell highlights that this project represents a new digital window through which the cultural, historical, and natural richness of our island can be showcased to the world, while also improving access to Mallorca’s cultural heritage.
Daniel Gallego, Manager of MUCBO, attended the presentation event, where he and representatives of the various featured cultural sites had the opportunity to experience the virtual tours using virtual reality headsets.
