Discovering the Varieties of Mallorcan Almonds at the MUCBO

On December 21st, we held a workshop with a festive touch as part of the DEL HUERTO A LA COCINA series. We gathered to welcome winter by dedicating a workshop to the varieties of Mallorcan almonds. The agricultural engineer introduced different almond tree varieties present on the island of Mallorca, and then, alongside chef Juanan Fernández, participants made turrón (nougat), candied almonds, and enjoyed almond milk.

In 2025, we will continue with more workshops in this free series, thanks to the funding from Conselleria d’Agricultura, Pesca i Alimentació | Fons de Garantia Agrària i Pesquera de les Illes Balears (FOGAIBA).
