MUCBO is taking part in the Fundació Sa Nostra’s educational programme with two courses on the gastronomy and agronomy of local wheat and artichoke varieties, as part of the 2026-2027 Adult Courses programme, which will once again take place at Can Tàpera.
Led by Llorenç Payeras and Juanan Fernández, these practical workshops will introduce participants to the main local varieties of these two crops, their agronomic characteristics and their importance for the conservation of agricultural biodiversity. This will be followed by a practical cooking workshop highlighting their flavours, qualities and the wealth of traditional knowledge they embody. An experience to understand the journey from field to table and the importance of preserving our local varieties.
