Once again, the MUCBO took part in Les Journées del Modernisme, an initiative that this year celebrated its second edition with the aim of bringing the heritage, history and identity of Sóller closer to the public.
As part of these events, the MUCBO held two children’s workshops in the courtyard of Can Dulce, designed to introduce younger participants to Modernist heritage in a fun and creative way, combining Modernism and nature.
The first workshop was inspired by Modernist stained-glass windows. The children created compositions using coloured methacrylate and drawings of plants and insects, experimenting with light, shapes and colours.

The second workshop focused on botanical printing, playing with the colours, shapes and textures of leaves from different plants to create their own compositions inspired by nature

Through these activities, the MUCBO helped make children part of this journey through the history of Sóller, allowing them to discover, in a creative way, the relationship between heritage, art and nature.
