This visit involves a global vision of the Balearic Museum of Natural Sciences and the Sóller Botanical Garden. With this visit, students will be able to learn about the museum’s collections and the garden, how they are preserved, and how work is done for the conservation of Balearic biodiversity. We will also learn about the rarest and most threatened plant species of the Balearic Islands, endemisms, and the conservation programs that are carried out. We will answer the questions: How and when were the Islands formed? Why are there no dinosaur remains found in the Balearics? What secrets can you discover by observing simple grains of sand? What organisms can we find within a Posidonia meadow?
