On July 24th, MUCBO hosted a new session of the Caves: Unique Environments lecture series, warmly received by the public. Around fifty people attended the talk by archaeologist Jaume Deyà, titled Mallorcan Cavities: A Time Capsule for Archaeology.
During the session, Deyà highlighted the scientific and heritage value of the caves of the Serra de Tramuntana, presenting key archaeological sites. Special attention was given to the ongoing research at Cova dels Robiols (Puigpunyent), an excavation providing important insights into the island’s past.
At MUCBO, we thank all attendees for their interest, and we are especially grateful to Jaume Deyà for generously sharing his knowledge and expertise.
The next session in the series will take place on August 14th, with a lecture by Salvador Moyà on paleontological discoveries on the island of Ibiza. Don’t miss it!
