At the MUCBO Botanical Institute, you’ll find an exhibition aimed at bringing botanical collections closer to visitors. The seed bank, herbarium, and living plant collection all have their space in the recently museumified room thanks to environmental education projects from the GOIB. In this corner, you can see a selection of digitized herbarium sheets from historic collections like that of Brother Bianor, as well as a display of seeds preserved in the germplasm bank, along with models and samples of fruits and seeds that showcase the conservation work carried out by the MUCBO | Sóller Botanical Garden for over thirty years.
If you haven’t visited yet, we encourage you to do so! We’re open Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sundays from 10 AM to 2 PM. We look forward to seeing you!
