On June 7th, as part of the self-sufficiency workshop series, we have a date with the traditions of our land: a workshop on traditional apricot varieties and homemade jam making. Led by Llorenç Payeras, we’ll uncover the secrets of this fruit so common in the Balearic Islands—how it’s grown and how to turn it into artisanal jam.
During this workshop, Llorenç Payeras will guide us through the different varieties of apricots historically cultivated in our region, showing us the techniques to transform them into delicious preserves. Participants will have the chance to practice jam-making techniques and learn how to make it at home.
Activity funded by the Conselleria d’Agricultura, Pesca i Alimentació | Fons de Garantia Agrària i Pesquera de les Illes Balears (FOGAIBA)
