As part of the “DE L’HORT A LA CUINA” workshop series, on July 12 we’ll explore the agricultural richness of our land with a new workshop dedicated to traditional summer apple varieties and their use in the kitchen.
Renowned agricultural expert Llorenç Payeras will introduce us to the wide diversity of apple varieties that have long been part of the Balearic Islands’ agricultural heritage, sharing their characteristics, how they are grown, and how they’ve adapted to our environment. Chef Juanan Fernández will surprise us with culinary creations that showcase the full gastronomic potential of these traditional summer apples.
A workshop where tradition and gastronomy come together to help us rediscover this deeply rooted local fruit.
Activity funded by the Conselleria d’Agricultura, Pesca i Alimentació | Fons de Garantia Agrària i Pesquera de les Illes Balears (FOGAIBA)
