The MUCBO team is pleased to announce that, starting this week, visitors will be able to enjoy a new audio guide that enhances the experience of both the Botanical Garden and the Museum. The guide is completely free of charge and available in four languages.
One of the core pillars of MUCBO’s mission is the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the field of natural sciences, particularly botany, zoology, paleontology, and geology. This new interpretive resource aims to strengthen that commitment and reach a broader audience.
The audio guide includes complete tours of both the Garden and the Museum, as well as a welcome introduction explaining the history of our institution. This is followed by an overview of each area, providing detailed information on the most significant elements and specimens within the collections.
It will be available to all visitors, who can listen to it on their mobile devices simply by scanning the QR code provided at the entrance, in the museum shop, and at other locations throughout our facilities.
In the Garden, visitors will discover the diversity and plant species found on each terrace, according to the habitats they represent. The tour takes visitors from the rocky coastline to the mountain peaks of the Serra, including the ethnobotanical collection and the flora of the Canary Islands.
In the Museum, paleontology and the study of present-day biodiversity are explored in detail, highlighting remarkable exhibits such as the skeleton of Myotragus balearicus and the subterranean fauna of Mallorca’s caves.
We invite you to enjoy this new audio guide during your next visit. It is offered free of charge in Catalan, Spanish, English, and German.

S’oferirà a tots els visitants, que podran escoltar-la a través del seu dispositiu mòbil, tansols escanejant el codi QR que es distribueix a l’entrada, botiga i altres punts de les nostres instal·lacions.
