This scientific meeting brings together specialists from around the world in the field of taphonomy \u2014 the branch of paleontology that studies the processes occurring from the death of an organism to the fossilisation of its remains.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the conference, Juan Garc\u00eda Palou presented preliminary results from one of the chapters of his doctoral thesis, focused on the taphonomy of Permian fossil remains from Mallorca.
