The event will be introduced by Magdalena Vicens, curator of the Botanic Garden of S\u00f3ller.<\/p><p>This unique publication, divided into two volumes, is the result of a project imagined years ago by the authors, aiming to share the richness of Balearic flora through a harmonious blend of science, art and sensitivity.<\/p><p>Volume 1, already published, offers a selection of 63 species of spermatophytes \u2014plants with flowers and fruit\u2014 found in a variety of habitats across the Balearic Islands. With clear, educational texts by Margalida Llabr\u00e9s and detailed illustrations by Vicen\u00e7 Sastre, the book invites readers of all ages to enjoy and discover the special traits of these botanical wonders.<\/p><p>Volume 2, just released and presented as the culmination of the project, completes the work with 67 additional species from forest and scrubland, coastal areas, riverbank woodlands and meadows. Together, both volumes include 130 species, with a special focus on Balearic endemics, which represent the most distinctive part of our native flora.<\/p><p>This double publication offers a unique insight into the plant world of the Balearic Islands and becomes a valuable tool for learning and appreciating our natural environment.
