{"id":12372,"date":"2026-07-13T13:40:35","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T11:40:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mucbo.org\/poesia-per-a-celebrar-la-serra\/"},"modified":"2026-08-04T13:54:00","modified_gmt":"2026-08-04T11:54:00","slug":"poesia-per-a-celebrar-la-serra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mucbo.org\/en\/poesia-per-a-celebrar-la-serra\/","title":{"rendered":"Poetry to celebrate La Serra."},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On July 8, MUCBO hosted a very special event to commemorate the <strong>15th anniversary of the Serra de Tramuntana&#8217;s designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Cultural Landscape category<\/strong>, with the poetry recital <strong>&#8220;A Song to the Serra&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organized by the <strong>Fundaci\u00f3 Mallorca Liter\u00e0ria<\/strong>, the recital brought together three poets from different generations: <strong>Miquel Ray\u00f3, Pau Vadell i Vallbona, and Maria Garcia Garau<\/strong>, who, with remarkable sensitivity, offered the audience a selection of works inspired by the Serra de Tramuntana or shaped by experiences lived in these landscapes.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The audience of around fifty people also enjoyed works by classic authors such as <strong>Joan Alcover, Bartomeu Rossell\u00f3-P\u00f2rcel<\/strong>, and <strong>Miquel Costa i Llobera<\/strong>, which were recited by actor <strong>Guillem Galm\u00e9s<\/strong> during the intervals between the contemporary poets&#8217; readings.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attendees were also able to find some relief from the intense summer heat with a glass of white wine, courtesy of MUCBO.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p><div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"709\" height=\"1260\" src=\"https:\/\/mucbo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/WhatsApp-Image-2026-08-04-at-13.39.08.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12364\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.5625019618511504;width:372px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mucbo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/WhatsApp-Image-2026-08-04-at-13.39.08.jpeg 709w, https:\/\/mucbo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/WhatsApp-Image-2026-08-04-at-13.39.08-600x1066.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 709px) 100vw, 709px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On July 8, MUCBO hosted a very special event to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Serra de Tramuntana&#8217;s designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Cultural Landscape category, with the poetry recital &#8220;A Song to the Serra&#8221;.
