We continue the Self-Sufficiency Workshop Series with a new must-attend session for those who love the land, traditional cooking, and agricultural biodiversity:
The Tap de Cortí Pepper – Mallorcan Paprika, once again led by expert Llorenç Payeras.

In this workshop, we’ll explore the history and importance of the Tap de Cortí pepper, a recovered variety that has become a symbol of Mallorcan culture and cuisine. We’ll learn how to plant, care for, and transform it into pebre bord, the vibrant red seasoning that brings character to the island’s most traditional dishes.

We’ll also learn about the harvesting, drying, and grinding process, along with its culinary uses and the unique properties of this product — deeply rooted in self-sufficient cooking and the traditional pantry.

An opportunity to recover knowledge, sow culture, and strengthen food sovereignty through respect for the land and local varieties.
